26 sept. 1200 av. J.-C. - Assyria had allies that were weak and depended on their military support. Assyria's capital was Ashur. That capital still exists as an Iraqi city. Assyria was fierce in battle and did not accept defeat. The empire was destroyed by Alexander the Great of the Macedonian Empire.
