Description:

Debt Bondage and Indentured Servitude did not exist in significant degree in the Ivory Coast. The area was a rather prosperous country economically, meaning that those who would be placed in debt bondage were frequently just made slaves. There is the potential for French indentured servants, however the country was in fact rather self sustaining and did not need more people to develop, so there is no significant data to support the presence of indentured servitude.
