Description:
A bank of non-stop charter flights linking Mainland China to Taiwan was established when Air China charter flight CA1087 took off at 8am, 30th of January 2005. These people had been isolated at both ends for over half a century. The flight was used both by businesspeople and families wanting to get together for Lunar new year. Described by the passengers as 'very convenient'.
