Description:

A constitutional document sent by Parliament to King Charles I in regards to his means of exercising authority.

4 main points:
- No taxation without Parliament's consent
- No imprisonment without cause
- No quartering of soldiers on the public
- No martial law during peacetime.

Limited King's power slowly moving away from Divine Right and Absolute Monarchy.
