Niels Henrik David Bohr was a Danish physicist who improved on Rutherford's atom model only a few years after it was created. He was born on October 7, 1885, and in 1912 he found that the Rutherford model of a positively charged nucleus and negatively charged electrons spinning around would cause the atom to be unstable. Bohr found that the atoms should only occupy certain orbits. This solved problems in Ernest Rutherford's model and got him a Nobel prize in 1922Ajouté au bande de temps:
