Description:

A conference debating the question of a political union between the Maritime Provinces [Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton, New Brunswick, and New Ireland] is crashed by politicians from the Province of Canada. This ended any serious hope of a united, independent, maritime province. However, the delegates agreed to meet a new conference to discuss the idea of a united British North America.
