1 janv. 1970 - Kohlberg
Description:
Kohlberg's influence on character can be seen in the mid to late 20th century. He believed that the knowledge of good was developed through a 6 stage process of development by each individual (Arthur, 2014). Kohlberg's focus on character education was in moral reasoning. He posited that students need to participate in moral dilemma conversations to develop moral reasoning skills. Kohlberg did not see value in textbook lessons on character but rather saw value in giving students a chance to exercise moral habits (Tatman, Edmonson, & Slate, 2017).
