This was the first time four Canadian divisions, with soldiers from all over Canada fought together in unity. This symbolized Canada's unity, and ideals. The victory was incredibly inspiring for Canada, especially after the disaster that was the Battle of the Somme. This battle marked Canada's coming of age as a country.
