It was exactly 187 seven years ago when the "Train of tears" was caused due to the president Andrew Jackson signed the Senate bill which was also known as the Indian Removal Act. The legislation forced 5 Southeastern indigenous nations, including Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole to trek up 2,200 miles on foot.
