16 h 20 min, 16 mars 2004 ans - Allen is bitten, Dale and Tyreese find a generator, Allen's foot is amputated. (Issue 20) (Issue 21)

Description:

- Day 252
- Nothing comes out from the noise so they figure nothing else is around and split up. Rick, Axel and Allen go off one way and Tyreese and Dale go the other.
- Shortly after splitting up Allen stops to catch his breath after being surprised by the lurker and is bitten on the ankle by another one which crawled out a doorway.
- Tyreese and Dale hear the scream but think he was just surprised again, they discover a generator. They hear Rick and Axel freak out and rush back.
- The four of them carry Allen outside and put him down. Rick remembers that it isn't the bite which brings you back, the bite just kills you. So he asks Tyreese to rip Allen's pant leg so he can cut off the bite. Tyreese is reluctant but gives in and lets Rick do it.
- Allen starts to bleed out so Hershel helps them block the arteries and take him inside.
