Of his time on the Yeltsin campaign, Bell describes in his book being invited to Moscow “in 1995 or 1996” to meet with the “propaganda committee”, run by Igor Malashenko (formerly of Vladimir Gusinky's NTV), just-resigned deputy PM Anatoly Chubais, and head of presidential security Alexander Korjakov.

Bell writes that the campaign didn't want to work with him any longer after he leaked Bell Pottinger's involvement just days later to a journalist.
