Description:
Standing at 236 cm. also made of bronze, this statue depicts Judith moments away from slashing Holofernes's neck. In this instance Judith is seen as a symbol of virtue, victory, and liberty whereas Holofernes is seen as a symbol of promiscuity and pride. The statue stands on a triangular base with holes for water to flow through, it also had gilding all over the statue, most of which has aged away.
