A meteorite made of a giant magical gem falls and fractures due to high pressure from the atmosphere, creating an airburst effect and scattering magical gems for miles North of Netelos, near the Three Rivers. The damage is devastating; however, the Council of the Republic sees a great opportunity if this power could be harnessed.They are, however, not alone.
