- Day 11
- Brian tells Philip that Penny really needs to pee.
- They reach the zenith of the hill on Capital Avenue. The view is gorgeous and the Escalade comes to a stop. They sit there for a moment speech-less. From the north of Capital Avenue coming from Martin Luther King Drive is a large herd of the dead.
- Penny wets herself.
- Philip realises that the entire city is filled with the dead, the chances of finding the refugee centre or even anyone alive is a fat chance.
- Philip sends the SUV roaring into reverse. There are more zombies behind them and Philip slams on the breaks. They have one chance to get out of there and Philip sends the SUV directly into the herd of zombies behind them and goes down Memorial Drive.
- They have a zombie stuck in the wheels, Nick and Brian panic about what to do but Philip lets it 'ride along'.
