Over the years the “hull house” gained social. Educational, and artistic programs. Ellen Gates Starr was an American activist born on march 19,1859. Jane Addams “mother of social work” born on September 6, 1860. Addams was the second woman to receive the Peace Prize. She founded the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom in 1919.
