20 mars 1874 - Treaty of Port Royal

Description:

The Treaty of Port Royal brought and end to the Third Anglo-American War and sought to end the ongoing relation between the Fenian Brotherhood and the United States

1.) The eastern half of the Campeche Territory would be granted to the British and transferred to the Mayan Free State.

2.)The United States would recognize British May Protectorate, as well as its predecessor, Chan Santa Cruz.

3.) Guatemala would cede the Petén and Izabal districts to the British as a component of British Honduras.

4.) The United State would cease all support and defense of the Fenian Brotherhood.

5.) The United States would pay war reparations totaling 10 million dollars, for both the damage caused by the war, and damage caused by the Fenian Raids

6.) The United States would be liable to further reparations resulting in any future Fenian Raids.
