In the midst of all the chaos going on around the world and in Egypt in particular, the Germans would come in and take control of the canal for the global safety and security. While many were wanting to fight the German Empire for the Canal, Fuad would decide against it. He knew only too well that he couldn’t fight the collapsing British Empire and the German Empire at the same time.
