17 h 30 min, 22 déc. 2003 ans - Zombies attack the camp, Amy is killed, Jim is bitten. (Issue 5)

Description:

- Day 156
- Whilst eating dinner they all talk about what they did before and how they got to the camp.
- Dale explains how his wife had died in a campsite after the plague hit. He found Amy and Andrea on the way to Atlanta.
- Amy was a physical education major and Andrea was a clerk in a law firm.
- Glenn was a pizza delivery boy in Macon, swimming in debt. He would rather go back to that than live in the apocalypse.
- Allen was a shoe salesman also in debt.
- Jim was a mechanic.
- Carol's husband was a failed car's salesman who killed himself after he saw his parents die. Carol and Sophia went to Atlanta to live with her sister but they never got into the city.
- Amy decides to go to the bathroom on the way out, she spots a zombie and then backs up into another which takes a chunk out of her neck.
- Everyone jumps up to defend the camp.
- Lori almost gets attacked when Carl saves her by shooting the zombie. Jim goes wild on a zombie that apparently 'killed his family'.
- When the camp is clear the group finds out that Jim was bitten on the arm.
