Description:
- Day 123- Rick wakes up from a coma in Harrison Memorial Hospital. He tries to call for a nurse but nobody responds. He goes out and finds the place deserted. He finds a rotten body on the floor and a locked cafeteria which is filled with the walking dead. He narrowly escapes the swarm and makes it outside onto the car park.
- He finds a girl laying in the grass who had been almost completely devoured. However she is still moving and 'alive'. He shreds a tear and takes her bicycle to get home.
- He finds his house deserted and is hit over the head with a shovel by Duane Jones. His father Morgan arrives and they take Rick into their house next door.
