- Day 2
- If Lee and Clementine decide to leave during the night then Chet will have died and reanimated during the time they waited. They're shot at by a police officer named Andre Mitchel who is accompanied by Shawn Greene. After they realise that Lee and Clem are human, they apologise and state that they've cleaned out the whole neighbourhood. But one zombie is left. Shawn offers to take Lee and his 'daughter' back to his father's farm where it's safe. Lee corrects him and lies that he's her babysitter, a neighbour or is honest and says he's just some guy. A zombified Chet approaches and everyone rushes into Andre's car. Andre can't bring himself to shoot his friend and leaves Chet as a zombie.
- They arrive at the Greene Family Farm. If Chet is alive, he'll say goodbye and walk home. If Andre is with them, he'll say goodbye and leave in his police car.
- Shawn's father, Hershel greets them and is glad Shawn's ok. If Chet was killed, Hershel will be saddened over the news of his death. He tells Lee and Clem that they're welcome to stay for the night only. He will assume that Clementine is Lee's daughter but Shawn will correct him based on what Lee said earlier. Lee takes a seat on the porch and Hershel takes a look at his injured leg while asking some questions. He'll ask Lee how he injured his leg and Lee can choose to lie or tell a version of the truth which Hershel will make note of.
- Shawn believes they should fortify the fence to protect the place. If Chet died, Hershel will agree. If Chet's alive, he won't deem it necessary and Shawn will ask Lee to tell Hershel what he's seen. Hershel ultimately agrees to fortify the farm in the morning with help from Lee and the other displaced family sleeping in the barn.
- Lee and Clementine sleep in the barn for the night. Clem doesn't like the smell and Lee can teach her a new word "manure" or "shit" (the latter she will remember).
- In the middle of the night, Lee wakes up from a nightmare about him killing the state senator.
