August 1st, 1920In 1920 an English family rented the house, but they left almost immediately after a series of perceived bad omens sent the superstitious Arlene Upton off her rocker. (Wade and Arlene Upton and their newborn daughter)
She insisted that the place was possessed by the vengeful spirits of dead witches and should be thoroughly cleansed by a psychic and an exorcist at the bare minimum before it is fit for the renting market.
Arlene and Wade moved to Cambridge with their daughter shortly after.
