While doing research for an assignment, I came across a promising academic research paper that I thought would provide useful insight. However, the paper was in a different language. Yet, globalization has pushed search engines, such as Google, to offer translations of pages written in a language different from the language set by the user's computer. The breaking of language barriers through globalization made it possible for me to attain a unique perspective about the topic I was researching which helped me write a better assignment overall.
