Digital Printing - Laser/Ink Jet printer digitally transfer RGB pixel information into CMYK data (cyan, magenta, Yellow and key) through a set of roller printing an image which is accurate in colour, however, can be expensive depending on the type of printer. Pantone printers are more expensive, however, can achieve a higher range of colours.

This is a more modern method and was introduced in 1987 and is used widely today in 2017. However, due to technology push, more experimental methods are being used for printing to keep costs down without inhibiting or compromising the quality and colour accuracy of a product.
