13 juill. 1759 - Siege of Fort Quebec

Description:

On July 13th a Siege begins on the French. The British began bombarding Fort Quebec, over 20000 cannonballs hits the city. 80% of the fort had been destroyed and most of the civilians left the city and fled to an abbey north of the city. The French interpreted this attack as horrible due to multiple civilians having to flee their homes and getting displace. The British thought of this as a great success having done a lot of damage towards Fort Quebec, and taking control over the fort, but they would later regret doing a lot of damage because in the Rematch issues would pop up like starving due to having no food since they destroyed it all.
