Lyghtbowne and Lemynge, </i> Crofton (YAJ36/440). The same word was probably the source of the common Ribblesdale surname Leeming: 1379 <i>sutor Willelmus Lemyng </i>, Paythorne; <i>Johannes Lemyng </i>, Stainforth (GRDict).
