On April 12th, 1945 President FDR passed away after suffering a massive cerebral hemorrhage at his Warm Springs, Georgia estate. After serving four monumental terms in office as the President of the United States, the stress had taken its toll on President FDR. Vice President Harry Truman assumed office and immediately had the task of taking on the end of WW2 and the dropping of the atomic bomb. It wasn’t until FDR died that Truman had gained the knowledge of the Manhattan project and now he was tasked with making the ultimate decision on what to do with it that would shape the future of the world.
