On September 30th, 1938 the British, French, and Germans signed the Munich Pact. The Munich Pact was an agreement that Germany wouldn't invade anymore counties. On September 1st, 1939 , Germany broke the Pact when they invaded Poland.https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/munich-pact-signed
