Description:

This was a meeting between President Bush and general secretary of the Soviets, Gorbachev. Some consider it an official end to the Cold War, some say it simply marks the lessening of tensions. Either way, the leaders had civilized discussion about moving forward from this tense time in both of their countries histories. This led to the fall of the Soviet Union as the nation began to move past the communist ideals.
