Description:
The Civilian Conservation Corps was a work relief program. It gave millions of men projects and employment during the Great Depression. It was considered to be one of Roosevelt's most success New Deal programs. The CCC constructed shelters and trails, and planted more than 3 billion trees in parks nationwide.
