29 oct. 1929 - Stock Market Crash
Description:
The stock market crash of 1929 was deemed the worst one in American history and nicknamed Black Tuesday. The crash happened because too many people were buying on credit and margin, banks gave 90% loans to people who'd lose it in stocks or didn't have a high enough income to pay the bank back, and the stock market was portrayed incorrectly, showing a steady increase in the market sales while the number of banks and unemployment was rising.
