Description:

UN negotiator Count Bernadotte arranged a truce, which was agreed to by Israel and the Arab League.

It was an opportunity for USA supporters to help the Israelis with the war. It is debated as to who broke the truce a day early, but from the 8th - 18th July the Israelis went on the offensive.
