Description:
Melbourne grew as a processing centre and port for wool exports. By this time, it had a population of 22,000. With all sorts of galleries, streets and buildings (including hospitals, schools etc) built everywhere. A great decline of Aboriginal population, which is estimated to have declined from 30,000 (1835) to less than 5000 (1850) (In Port Phillip Bay).
