Description:
The Ambum Stone is a stone carving that was crafted 3500 years ago in what we know as New Guinea. It was a religious object for a group in Papua, New Guinea. Until it sat in a western gallery. This artifact caused many political debates on who owned historical artifacts, and also affected evolving structures of power.
