Description:

First deployed in early 1967, The F-105 upgrade built on the F-105F with additional sensing equipment for the EWO. Aircraft could still carry the AGM-45 SHRIKE, but was capable of carrying the AGM-78 STARM as well. Some sources state that the F-105G carried the STARM in 1967, but I have found none that discuss its actual use.
