Description:
On Christmas Day, Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth had his home bombed bu Ku Klux Klansmen. Shuttlesworth had recently assumed a position of high leadership in civil rights in Birmingham, and founded the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights. He was the largest target for Klansmen in Birmingham, and was assaulted four times in seven years. Racists didn't stop at Fred himself however, also stabbing his wife after they enrolled their daughters at an all white school.Ajouté au bande de temps:
