Description:
Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were the primary organizers of this Women's rights convention that produced a "Declaration of Sentiments" which was modeled after the Declaration of Independence. Its opening volley reads that "all men and women are created equal. The Convention passed 12 resolutions including one that called for the right of women to vote.
