Description:
Andrew Goodman, James Chaney, and Michael Schwerner were 3 activists that were abducted and murdered in Mississippi in June of 1964 during the Civil Rights Movement. The 3 men had traveled to a church to talk with congregation members before being arrested for speeding. After the 3 were released from jail, they were followed by law enforcement and other cars. Their car was the pulled over, abducted, driven to another location, and shot at close range.
