16 déc. 1773 - Boston Tea Party

Description:

The colonists were still mad at the British, even though they repealed part of the Townshend Acts, this is because they were still taxed on sugar and tea, they were fed up with this. Though there were many boycotts around the colonies, the Boston Tea Party was more notable. Several colonists dressed up as Native Americans and raided several British boats and dumped tea into the water. The estimated damages in current US money is about 750k.
