5 juill. 1780 - After the trial

Description:

Four months have passed since the trial, and Mr. Lorry, Charles Darnay, and Sydney Carton have become regular visitors at the Manettes' home in Soho. Ms. Pross also lives with them because she is the governess of Lucie. They discuss possible suitors for Lucie and Darnay tells a story of a prisoner who wrote Dig on the wall.Mr.Lorry walked to the manettes house for threee reasons: it was typical of him to walk on fine sunday afternoons with the manettes, he would often go over there on not nice days as a friend and talk with them and lastly he wanted to solve his own problems.
