Description:
-some leaders not arrested --> resistance/opposition either in Berlin or abroad (e.g. Paris)-opposition to Nazi regime (little impact): leaflets, newspapers, banners - no real consideration of armed resistance (SPD took similar course of action after being banned later in year, also with little impact)
-USSR called for "popular front" of left from August 1935 - too late; had previously told KPD to attack SPD as "social fascists"
