Description:
Roosevelt tried the reinforce Indian affairs and slow down how fast land was being taken. John Collier wanted for the tribes to encourage economic development, self-determination, and cultural pluralism. The IRA stopped the idea and wanted to take land from the Indians. The tribes could keep their government but under a constitution. The tribes could hire lawyer and try to keep their land.
