Flooneys are a collection of digital art on the Counterparty platform, primarily centered around Joe Looney, a key figure in the Rare Pepe community. The collection spans multiple series, including the 'Pre-FlooneyBin Era', 'The FlooneyBin Collection', and 'The Mike In Space Collection', as well as various one-off pieces from the 'Flooneyverse'.

The collection begins as an homage to original Rare Pepe card, 'JOELOONEYBIN,' created by artist Dan Darkpill. This card humorously featured a picture of Joe Looney’s face replacing Osama Bin Laden and included references to community members and crypto culture, such as 'JONGPEPE Whale' and 'Rare Code Skillz' relating to his massive pepe collection and his previous coding of the Rare Pepe Wallet.

This creative concept evolved into a wide range of art pieces that either celebrated or playfully poked fun at Joe Looney. The 'Flooneyverse' touches on a variety of themes, including disc golf, renaissance art, Lord of the Rings, The Shining and many other cultural references.

While many pieces are part of the main Rare Pepe Collection, others are curated from related projects like Fake Rare, Fake Commons, Kaleidoscope, and Pepe Fest Rares. The project also invited community participation through the 'FLOONEYBIN.MAKE_YOUR_OWN Collection,' a simple tool that allowed anyone to create their own Flooney using disc golf frisbees, 'green-faced' Joe Looney images and other 'paint' inspired tooling.

The broader collection features art from a number of prominent artists and community members, including Scrilla, Darky, Norman Comics, Booo Urns, Fake Annie, Carsonated, Arwyn, Mike in Space, and NathanSonic. The collection is defined by the 'FLOONEYBIN' card by Booo Urnz, which stands out as the only fake rare with sub-assets that are also included in the collection.
