Description:

It was discovered that coating the exterior of the ship with a layer of Muon Neutrinos would neutralize nearly all of the harmful quantum eddies.
Maintaining this shielding proved to be very intensive, both in energy costs and in computing power. A partial solution was found in "streamlining" the hull of a test ship.

Construction began on a larger test ship, to be outfitted with a full crew of 24.
It was named the Graland.
