Description:

Nearly a year after the discovery of the space-time tearing effect, a heavily modified 2-person freighter was outfitted with a stable self-sustaining version of the equipment, officially dubbed the Hyphos Drive.

While the initial test flights were very promising it became apparent that there was an unforeseen adverse effect on both the crew and the ship; when travelling through the space-time tear eddy currents could form in front of the ship. Which, in turn, could interact with the ship and cause fluctuations in the strong nuclear force.



Test flights with human crews were suspended until further notice and only drone ships were used in subsequent flights.
