The Phone Hacking Case against NGN was conducted in closed (confidential) court. As such few details were published except when Claimants won and chose to speak to the media although this was also carried out under many agreed restrictions. This is an update that was released to the media.

We are aware that Johnny Depp filed and as such would possibly be a Claimant at this stage. He filed late so the assumption is that he would be amongst the last to come before the court and therefore probably not amongst this first trance of claimants to reach a settlement. We do not know if Johnny Depp was represented by Hamlins although many seemed to have joined the class action being handled by them.

This update is included simply as evidence that the case was progressing despite very little information being released to the media.
