Nixon wins a tighter US Presidential election, knocked for the ongoing Cuban occupation, but benefiting from Black support due to Civil Rights movement. ___ Electoral votes and with __% of the popular vote to the Dem's _% and __ EVs.

The Dixiecrats largely split from the party, causing the vote collapse, as they support Wallace's American Heritage Party. They draw their strength largely from Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina.

In Congress, a modest Nixon coattail effect brought the following results:
