-The Second Bank of the United States tightening their lending policies to control inflation, causing many state banks to close
-There was a decrease in demand of exported American goods
-Mass unemployment, bankruptcies, and debts
-Brought about a sentiment amongst laboring men to want to vote (Couldn't before because of property requirements)
-Many eastern and western states lowered or eliminated their property qualificiations
