7 oct. 1763 - Royal Proclamation of 1763
Description:
With the intention of further stabilizing the colonial western frontier by preventing further colonial and Native American hostilities, Britain passes the Proclamation of 1763 saying the colonists essentially cannot move into the land they had just won during the war (the land past the Appalachian Mountains). The colonists are furious and ignore the proclamation.
