22 juill. 1947 - 7/22/1947 Alleged Army Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC) document on the supposed creation of IPU Salla: "Created in 1942 by orders of Army Chief of Staff, George Marshall, in response to the mysterious air raid over Los Angeles on February 24/25, 1942... addressed to President Roosevelt and explained how the Navy had recovered an 'unidentified airplane' of 'interplanetary origin.' Marshall then ordered 'Army G2' to create 'a special intelligence unit' to 'investigate the phenomenon'"
