When deemed as a Gamma knight many were opposed. And to address the issue Athena expressed herself in the speech:

"Yes, I am a female, and i've become the first woman in history to hold such a high rank. I got here on my own abilities, I didn't sleep with anybody nor am I a whore. I know you have a problem with me being here and I honestly couldn't care less but to avoid problems in the future lets resolved this immediately. I'll be staying here for the rest of the day and I shall fight anyone, as a reward they can get my title and my apologies. I shall not wear any armor or potions. It'll just be me and my powers. Now if you have the balls, I'm right here"

The fights lasted until the sun set and not even one knight managed to scratch her. This proved her abilities as a Gamma knight.
